at the end of that five day period i returned dragon age 2 and kept this game for another five and still wasn't able to beat it (i played a lot of multiplayer as well as single player). I never bought this game due to the horribleness of the first game, but rented it and dragon age 2 at the same time for 5 days. I don't know what the max character level is for this game, but I've personally seen multiple people at lvl 100+ and I myself have 2 characters at least at lvl 60. It also has a unique personal multi-player village sim (non storyline) component to it that can be shared among all your multiplayer characters, and may even host other xbox live players as guests in it. To boot, it has an interesting multi-player storyline component that serves as a prequel to the single player main story line. Visually, it is currently the most beautiful rpg on the market. final fantasy 10,11,12,13,Oblivion Despite what others might say). Voice acting for this game is actually quite good compared to the voice acting in other games (i.e. It has an engrossing story longer than oblivion's main story line, but not as many side quests as oblivion (oblivion had like 300, this has between 100-200). besides character appearance and race customization, it also has Upgrade, color schemes, and de-construction options for things like: weapons, armor, spell crafting, and alchemy. It's a large expansive rpg along the lines of Bathesda's Elderscrolls 4 Oblivion in terms of size of explorable land. Generally, Two Worlds 2 is a great game easily worth $20-$30. Minimally, it's a great 20-30something $ hold over until skyrim. Give it a shot, just play it a few hours and you will see the coolness of it unfold. I have not played any multiplayer yet, so I dont know how that is. ![]() If you get this game, you are going to have to play thru the beginning area, to where you can actually find some combat.and see exactly all the stuff you can do. Any other gamer will wonder what they hell they spent their money on during the first twenty minutes of play. I like how you can recieve skill points from doing special tasks, instead of only getting them when you level up. There is a ton of skills and customization you can do with breaking weapons down and upgrading or repairing other weapons or items with the parts you break down. Once I got past the annoying beginning area that teaches you the ropes of the game, I started liking it a lot better. There are some technical issues with the game such as bad lip syncing, twitchy movement at times, and sometimes riding on your horse, it will freeze for a split second. Save lots, we guess. At first I was almost scared away by the bad graphics and terrible cut scenes. When you run diagonally on a hill and randomly incur huge fall damage and instantly die, well, there’s not really a fix for that. As for the unleveled dialogue audio, have a remote nearby for quick volume adjustments. ![]() ![]() Horrendous glitches that plague the game, on the other hand… when you start the game and can’t read half the words onscreen, and have to fiddle with bewildering settings just to read what your armor does, that’s a problem. In fact, this is the first game in recent memory where reading the game manual is absolutely necessary.īut complexity isn’t reason enough to thrash on a game. In fact, it seems you can go through most the game without learning seemingly pivotal aspects of TWII, like the fact that there’s a stellar online mode, or how to use the ridiculously robust spell creation, or that “Soul Patchers” reallocate your skill points, or that the spiky dude you’re running away from is the evil emperor, or that the screaming chick in your brain is your sister, etc, etc, ad infinitum.
